A big news related to Adani Group is coming. Foreign Institutional Investors (FPIs) reduced their stake in most Adani Group companies in the September 2023 quarter. This was stated in an analysis by CNBC-TV18. Among the 10 listed companies of the Adani Group, Adani Enterprises has seen the biggest decline in foreign holdings on a quarterly basis. Foreign investors reduced their stake in Adani Enterprises by 4.8% in the July-September 2023 quarter. According to data till September 30, 2023, the share of foreign institutional investors in Adani Enterprises has declined to 14.52% from 19.34% in the June quarter.
A stake in Adani Ports fell more than 3 percent
Overseas holdings in Adani Ports and Special Economic Zones have also come down to about 13.8 percent. At the end of the June 2023 quarter, foreign investors’ stake in the company was 16.99 percent. Foreign investors’ stake in Adani Ports fell by 3.16 percent. Foreign institutional investors (FPIs) stake in cement major ACC also fell by around 3 per cent to 7.1 per cent at the end of September 30.

Shares in these companies have declined since the March quarter
Among the 10 listed companies, the share of foreign investors in Adani Ports, ACC, Adani Energy Solutions (formerly Adani Transmission), Adani Wilmer and Adani Total Gas has been declining since the March 2023 quarter. The share of foreign institutional investors in Adani Ports and Adani Energy declined to 4.2% and 3.3% respectively. Except for Adani Power and NDTV, the share of foreign investors declined in all group companies during the September quarter. Foreign institutional investors’ stake in NDTV rose to 0.05% from 0.02% in the June quarter.
