Bihar STET 2024: Bihar School Examination Board, Patna has released the notification of Secondary Education Eligibility Test (STET) 2024. Application for Bihar STET
It will start at 4:30 pm today. The link to apply is going to be activated soon. Youngsters who want to become teachers can apply by visiting www.bsebstet2024.com. The last date to apply is fixed on January 2, 2024. As before, questions in Bihar STET exam will be multiple choice. Each question will carry one mark. There will be no negative marking.

1. The Bihar STET Examination will be conducted as per the syllabus prescribed for Secondary Classes for the subjects falling under Paper-1 (Secondary) and as per the syllabus prescribed for Higher Secondary Classes for the subjects falling under Paper-2 (Higher Secondary). .
2. Paper-1 Secondary
Paper-1 will be conducted in Hindi, Urdu, Bangla, Maithili, Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts, Dance and Special School Teacher.
3. Paper-2 Higher Secondary
Under this Hindi, Urdu, English, Sanskrit, Bengali, Maithili, Maghi, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, Pali, Prakrit, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, Home The exam will be conducted for teachers of Science, Commerce, Computer Science, Agriculture and Music subjects.
3. Age Limit: Maximum 37 years.
– Female and BC, MBC category candidates will be given age relaxation of three years.
– Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes will get relaxation of five years in maximum age.
– Candidates with disabilities will get relaxation of 10 years in the maximum age limit.
4. Paper Patterns
Paper-1 and Paper-2 will have 100 questions from specified subject and 50 marks will be from Teacher Art and other skills. That means there will be total 150 questions. The duration of the exam to be conducted in CBT mode will be two and a half hours.
5. Passing Marks
Normal – 50 percent
Backward Classes – 45.5 percent
Very Backward Class – 42.5 percent
SC, ST – 40 percent
Disabled – 40 percent
Women – 40 percent
6. All the candidates who pass Paper-1 and Paper-2 will be issued a STET pass certificate which will be valid for lifetime.
7. Application Fee:
– Male and Female candidates belonging to General/Economically Weaker General Category/Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class shall pay the application fee as under.
– For Paper-1 or Paper-2 only – Rs. 960.
For both Paper-1 and Paper-2 – Rs. 1440.
Male and female candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and Persons with Disabilities have to pay the following fees.
– For Paper-1 or Paper-2 only – Rs. 760.
For both Paper-1 and Paper-2 – Rs. 1140.
