Bihar Teacher Recruitment: The number of teachers working in any school should be equal to the number of classrooms there. So that all teachers can teach children together in different rooms. To ensure this, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department KK Pathak has instructed all the District Magistrates to take necessary action.
In a letter written to the District Magistrate on Thursday, Mr. Pathak clarified that one lakh and ten thousand new teachers have contributed to the schools. One lakh more teachers will be recruited by January 2024. Given this, there is an urgent need to develop infrastructure in schools. Additional rooms and prefab classrooms (steel structure) to be constructed soon. All DMs will ensure that after the arrival of new teachers, a situation does not arise where two teachers are seen taking classes in the same room. Such a situation can arise when the school has fewer rooms and more teachers. This problem will arise especially in primary and secondary schools. So call an urgent meeting of the public representatives of your district and identify what work will be done in which schools. The priority should be to have a room for each teacher.
For example, if a school has five teachers (apart from the head teacher), that primary school should also have five rooms. He said that around 1036 prefab classrooms have been constructed in the last three months. This pace needs to be accelerated. For this, the department will give the amount as much as the district asks for.
