4. Cutoff
Unreserved quota vacancies will be filled first. In such a situation, if the unreserved category vacancies are more and the number of eligible reserved category candidates is less, it is possible that all eligible reserved category candidates are declared successful against the unreserved category vacancies. In such a case, the reserved category seat will remain vacant and hence there will be no cutoff i.e. it will remain NA (Not Applicable).
Also, if the reserved category candidates are declared successful in the last vacancy of the unreserved category, the marks obtained by them will be the cutoff and these marks may also be the minimum qualifying marks of the reserved category which is apparently less than the minimum qualifying marks. Unprotected category.
5. Merit List and Tiebreaker
The provisional merit list of successful candidates will be prepared by the Commission on the basis of the total marks in the written examination, excluding the language qualification marks i.e. remaining 120 questions. In case of equal total marks, the marks of Main Section Part-III of the selected subject i.e. last 80 questions is used as the first tie breaker. But due to absence of Part 3 in Class 1 to 5, there will be no tie breaker – I.
In case of equal marks after Tie Breaker – I, the marks obtained in the Language Section in the second Tie Breaker – II will be used for recruitment of teachers for classes 1 to 5.
