BPSC TRE: Good news for youngsters dreaming of becoming a government school teacher in Bihar. Now the teacher recruitment exam will be conducted every year in the state. It will be organized in the month of August every year. Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Chairman Atul Prasad gave this information in a tweet on Thursday. He has made it clear that CTET, B.Ed, D.El.Ed candidates will not be given an opportunity to apply in the second phase. He said, ‘Currently there is no plan to give opportunity to candidates who passed CTET/B.Ed in the second phase of teacher recruitment. Instead it is planned to conduct TRE in August every year.
It may be noted that the application process for CTET January 2024 is going on. Last date to apply is 23 November 2023. The exam will be held on 21st January. Those who have appeared in Bihar TRE-2 have not been given an opportunity to apply. In such a situation, the candidates of this CTET exam were demanding from the Bihar Public Service Commission that they should be given an opportunity to apply for the second phase of teacher recruitment. Those who appeared for B.Ed and D.El.Ed were repeatedly requesting the commission to allow them to apply. But now the commission has clarified that those who will appear will not be given an opportunity to apply in TRE-2.
It is being said that an agreement has been reached between BPSC and the Education Department to recruit teachers every year. The responsibility of conducting the recruitment will be entrusted to BPSC itself. Earlier it has been decided to conduct STET exam every year also.

Apart from this there are also reports that 50 thousand more vacancies will be added in TRE-2. The total number of vacancies will increase to 1.20 lakh.
1.25 lakh applications in TRE-2 in four days
As of Wednesday, 1.25 lakh candidates have registered for the second phase of BPSC Bihar Teacher Recruitment. Currently the last date to apply without late fee is 14th November. And it is from 15th to 17th November with late fee. After registration, candidates can fill the exam form from November 10 to 25. This time the secretary of the commission Ravi Bhushan has made it clear that there will be no change in the application date. Candidates have to apply in due time.
