BMW is used as a rocket launcher by Ukraine: Ukraine has shared a video of its soldiers firing rockets at Russia. This video is also popular on social media. In the video, it is seen that a GRAD rocket launcher has been installed in a BMW 3-series car.
In several viral videos, three rockets are being fired continuously from a BMW car near the Russian border in Bakhmut. This is the place where fierce fighting is going on between Russia and Ukraine. Unverified drone footage shows explosions and smoke billowing from the car after the firing.

Video shared on X (formerly Twitter) with ID OSINTtechnical. Its caption reads, “Bakhmut, Ukrainian soldiers from the 114th TDF Brigade deploy their BMW 3-Series MLRS to the front, from where Ukrainian soldiers are firing 122 mm Grad rockets at Russian positions east of Klishivka.
Although it is not clear why the military attached the rocket launcher to the car, there have been reports of soldiers modifying GRAD rocket launchers in the past. The BM-21 GRAD-40 fires a .122 mm unguided rocket. One reason could also be that Ukraine uses BMW as a launcher to launch three rockets in a short period of time.
The two countries have been at constant war since Russian President Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine in February 2022 last year. Modern weapons have been used in this fight. Both countries are highly dependent on drones.
