In Bihar, the education department has allotted newly created posts of middle schools (classes six to eight) to the districts. There are total 31 thousand 982 posts. Maximum 1552 posts are allotted in Gaya and least number of 206 posts are allotted in Sheohar. After clearing the roster from the districts, a report has been sought within three days. In this regard, Director of Primary Education Pankaj Kumar has sent instructions to all District Education Officers and District Program Officers (Departments). In a letter sent to the districts, the director has said that 31,982 posts have been created in the graduate category from standard six to eight.
While allotting these posts subject-wise and school-wise, the reserve roster is approved by the District Magistrate. So that, the request for appointment to these posts by the General Administration Department may be forwarded to the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) soon. The letter also said that in the subject-wise and school-wise distribution of posts, it should be kept in mind that the distribution of posts in schools should be based on need. At least one teacher of mathematics, science, social science and language subjects should be mandatorily available in every school.

Reservation roster at 100 points
The department has clarified in the notification to the districts that the reservation will start from one point. Roster will be prepared on total 100 points. The first post will be for unreserved women and the second for EBC women category. Similarly, the third post will be for unreserved, fourth for SC women, fifth for unreserved women, sixth for BC women, seventh for EWS, eighth for EBC, ninth for unreserved women and tenth for ST.
