BPSC: Head teachers will be appointed to 11 thousand 334 posts in government secondary and higher secondary schools. Its preparation by the education department is in final stage. Soon the demand for these appointments will be sent to the Bihar Public Service Commission by the General Administration Department.

Departmental officials say that out of the total vacancies of head teachers, six thousand posts are outdated. In the earlier request sent by the education department to the Bihar Public Service Commission for the appointment of head teachers on 6 thousand 421 posts, head teachers could be appointed on only 421 posts. After this, the department took approval from the Council of Ministers for the appointment of head teachers in 5 thousand 334 higher secondary schools. In this way, a total of 11 thousand 334 posts will be appointed.

For this a written examination will be conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission. Officials of the department also say that the cadre of head teachers is to be formed in higher secondary schools as well. Apart from this, there are 29 thousand secondary schools in the state, out of which the posts of head teachers are vacant, those posts are also being identified.

The advertisement was released in March 2022 Bihar Public Service Commission has released an advertisement for the recruitment of Principals on 6421 posts in March 2022. In which more than 13 thousand candidates applied. Out of which only 421 got success.

A certificate of non-availability of teacher recruitment charges has to be provided
The Department of Education has issued guidelines on the contribution of new teachers. Which has to be followed by the new teachers who are working as employment teachers. The instructions state that already employed teachers will bring a certificate from the headmaster of the old school that no charges are pending against them. Apart from this, no-objection certificate from the employment unit will also be submitted before contributing at the new place. In case of new teachers working in any department of Central or State Government, they shall submit termination letter and no charge arrears certificate from their present office.

Most of the spaces were left vacant in the last restoration
Higher Secondary Schools are known to have been established in every Gram Panchayat of the State. Secondary schools have been upgraded for this. The department has been preparing for posting of head teachers in these higher secondary schools for a long time. In this regard, requisitions were sent for appointment to 6421 posts. But six thousand posts are vacant.
