BPSC TRE: BPSC Chairman Atul Prasad’s tweet on cutoff, explains the meaning of NA.

There were no candidates in the category to avail the benefit of reservation
BPSC chairman Atul Prasad has said that the benefit of reservation was given to candidates from those categories from which more applications than seats came. In many categories, applications fell short of seats. Such categories are not given the benefit of reservation. Atul Prasad gave this information to the candidates through a tweet on Thursday. He said that NA in TI-cutoff means that no candidate was left out in that reserved category to get the benefit of reservation in that category. Giving an example, he said that if a female SC candidate is selected along with a male SC and the required number of female candidates is met, they cannot be given benefits under SC-F. Let it be known that on Thursday BPSC released the cutoff of total 43 subjects subject wise from 1st to 12th. In which NA was written in many categories, due to which there was confusion among the candidates. BPSC chairman Atul Prasad clarified this by tweeting.
