Teacher Bharti 2023: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will declare the supplementary results for 4700 posts in the first phase teacher recruitment exam. The education department has given the details of these 4700 posts to the BPSC. A meeting of the commission and departmental officials was also held on Thursday regarding this. It is expected that the commission will announce the supplementary result soon.

According to the information received from the department, 4700 posts are vacant from the candidates who have passed the multiple level examination. That is, they have been declared successful in all three examinations at the primary, secondary and higher secondary levels or in any two of them. All candidates who have passed two or three levels of examination have as a rule deposited their contribution at one place. In such case, other posts will remain vacant. This is the reason why about 4700 posts are vacant due to such candidates. It includes posts at all three levels namely primary, secondary and higher secondary.

It is known that in the first phase, the commission released an advertisement for one lakh 70 thousand 463 posts. Around eight lakh candidates appeared for the exam. After the examination, one lakh 20 thousand 336 teacher candidates were declared successful. Candidates who are higher in the merit list will be successful in the supplementary result. 4700 candidates who are topping the merit list in the order of vacancies of each subject will get the opportunity to become a teacher in the current phase of recruitment only after the declaration of the supplementary result.

Other posts will be included in the third phase
In the first phase of recruitment, the posts for which there were few teacher candidates, have been included in the second phase of recruitment by the commission. The number of such posts is around 40 thousand. At the same time, among the successful candidates, there are 28 thousand 800 who are already employed. When such teachers contribute to the new place, their old posts will be vacated. The department will later receive information about these posts from the districts. After this, these posts will also be added in the third phase recruitment examination conducted by the commission. Apart from this there are more than ten thousand successful candidates who have not received the provisional appointment letter. These posts will also be included in the third phase. The contribution work of currently selected teachers will continue till December 7. The entire situation will be clear only after December 7, how many teachers have contributed out of 1 lakh 20 thousand 336 selected.
