BPSSC Bihar Police SI Bharti Exam Date 2023: Bihar Police (BPSSC) under Service Commission has announced the exam date for the recruitment of Sub Inspector on 1275 posts in Bihar Police. Bihar Police SI Recruitment Exam will be conducted on 17th December 2023 in two shifts. The first shift will be from 10 am to 12 pm and the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Candidates have to report one and half hour before the commencement of the examination. The gate will be closed half an hour before the start of the exam. No entry will be allowed after the gate is closed. Bihar Police SI Recruitment Exam Admit Card (BPSSC Bihar Police SI Admit Card) will be released on 1 December 2023. Candidates can download it by visiting www.bpssc.bih.nic.in. No admit card will be sent by post.
Bring photo ID along with admit card to the exam.
To appear for the examination at the allotted examination centre, carry a valid photo identity card such as voter ID, passport, driving license, PAN card or aadhar card But must be deposited. In case the photograph is not clear or not available on the e-admit card, in such case the candidate shall also bring 2 (two) photographs (taken within two months) of the same as the application form to the examination venue.
What should those who cannot download admit card do?
Candidates who are unable to download the e-admit card from the website for any reason can download the duplicate e-admit card from the office of Bihar Police Under Service Commission at 5, Harding Road, Patna-800001 on 14.12.2023 from 10 AM onwards. You can get the admit card till 5 pm. Such candidates can obtain a duplicate e-admit card at their own expense by appearing in person at the above office of the Commission along with a photocopy of the acceptance of their application form and a valid photo identity card.

The roll number wise list of examination centers will be available on the Commission’s website from 02.12.2023. Candidates should ensure that the downloaded e-admit card is correct. Candidates are advised to keep their admit card safe even after the examination, as it may be demanded by the appointing authority/commission during the main written examination, physical test, record verification and various subsequent processes at the time of submission.
Copy of OMR sheet issued
A copy of the specimen instructions printed on the answer sheet (OMR sheet) related to the Prelims written examination has been provided on the website of the Commission for the convenience of the candidates. Generally, it is observed that some candidates do not furnish the required information (such as roll number, question book number, paragraph writing and signature) on the OMR based answer sheet in the written examination as per the prescribed rules, due to which their candidature is canceled and their Answer books are not evaluated.
Candidates are asked to sit in their designated seat as per their name, photograph and roll number printed on the roll number sticker during the written test, otherwise their candidature will be cancelled.
Written Examination:-
– The Preliminary Written Examination will have a paper of 200 marks with a total number of 100 questions and the duration of the examination will be 2 hours. In which questions related to general knowledge and contemporary issues will be asked. Candidates securing less than 30 percent marks will be declared failed in the main examination.
– Based on the marks obtained in the preliminary examination, successful candidates will be selected 20 (twenty) times the number of vacancies and reserved category wise in order of merit.
