First of all, the gates of Gangotri Dham are going to be closed with which the journey to Gangotri Dham will end. The gates of Gangotri Dham will be closed on Tuesday, November 14. After this, on the next day, November 15, Wednesday, the doors of Kedarnath Dham along with Yamunotri Dham will also be closed. Finally, the doors of Badrinath Dham are going to be closed on Saturday, November 18.

A significant number of devotees were seen in this year’s Char Dham Yatra. More than 50 lakh devotees have reached Char Dham. This figure is many times more than the last few years. Around 5 lakh pilgrims came during the Kovid-19 Char Dham Yatra and last year around 46 lakh pilgrims were seen.
Char Dham Yatra is considered very important from religious point of view. Bandrinath Dham is located in Uttarakhand, called Devbhumi, Rameswaram Dham is located in Tamil Nadu, Drarika Dham is located in Gujarat and Jagannath Puri Dham is located in Odisha. These four dhamas located in all four directions are considered supernatural, to see which lakhs of devotees come on pilgrimage every year.
