Meanwhile, Karan Johar has once again spoken about sexuality and made some surprising revelations about his friendship with Shah Rukh Khan. Karan Johar has worked with Shah Rukh Khan in several films, which turned out to be blockbusters. Now Karan Johar has said that Shah Rukh Khan was the first person who helped him be comfortable with his sexuality.
Recently, while talking to the new podcast ‘We Are Yuva’, Karan Johar opened up about his 30-year-old friendship with Karan Johar. In a recent interview, Karan Johar admitted that he was initially very uncomfortable with his sexuality. He said that for him Shah Rukh Khan is the person with whom he discusses all his problems. Whenever she needs someone’s help, she first talks to Shah Rukh Khan.
He said – ‘He was born and brought up in a very progressive environment. He comes from theater and has worked with all kinds of people. My parents probably didn’t understand the things I was struggling with. The feminine side of me that was coming out so strongly, people generally laughed at it. or was ridiculed. Then when I got a little older, people calmed down a bit about it.
‘But I could definitely tell there were little things about the way I walked or talked. I remember that Shah Rukh Khan was the first person who never made me feel down for any reason. He always made me feel comfortable. I think whatever was considered funny in those days was accepted. He was very good at anything. He also had a very frank conversation with me about it.
Karan continued – ‘Whenever I have something big to say about my personality and sexuality, I talk to her first. He has been my biggest support.
