According to media reports, the actress has received death threats. It reportedly started when a paparazzi account claimed that Pooja was receiving such threats after an argument with someone in Dubai. However, the actress’ team said that these reports are false.
Pooja Hegde’s team has released a statement
On Thursday, Pooja Hegde’s team clarified that they have not received any threat and the news making such claims are baseless and false. The actress’ team told the Free Press Journal, ‘We don’t know who started this fake news. This is a complete lie. The social media post has since been removed by the paparazzi.
On the work front, Pooja started her career in 2012 with the Tamil film Mughamudi. After this she made her Telugu debut with Oka Laila Kosam. The actress has acted in dozens of Telugu films and has given many hits. However, recent years have not been anything special for her career as she has been giving back to back flop films. While the actress flopped in Radhe Shyam with Prabhas, Acharya was also a disaster. After this she was seen in the Hindi film Circus which was also a flop. Pooja was last seen in Salman Khan’s film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which failed at the box office. Apart from Salman and Pooja, the film also featured Shahnaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Palak Tiwari, Siddharth Nigam and Venkatesh Daggubati in important roles.

Pooja Hegde is now awaiting the release of the action-thriller Dewa, in which she co-stars Shahid Kapoor. The film is being directed by Roshan Andrews and will be financed by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Zee Studios. It is being said that it will release in October next year.
