Former IPS officer caught cheating in exam for two consecutive days

Retired IPS Rajesh Kumar was caught cheating in odd semester exams conducted at Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University in Lucknow. The proctor board caught the retired IPS officer cheating twice in two consecutive days in the LLB first semester examination. LLB first semester student Rajesh Kumar was caught cheating for the first time during the Law of Tort examination held on Wednesday. Fake material was again found from him on Thursday during examination of the contract.

A case under Unfair Means (UFM) was registered against the former officer on both days and a copy was sealed and sent to the UFM Committee for action. University officials said a team from the Proctoral Board was carrying out a surprise inquiry on Wednesday. Meanwhile Rajesh Kumar got suspicious. During the investigation he was caught with the chit. Again on Thursday during a search by the Proctoral Board, fake material was found from a retired officer.

He also discussed with the Proctor Board members on both the days. A university spokesperson said that as per rules the case of a candidate caught cheating has been referred to the UFM committee.
