New Delhi:

The ongoing war between Israel and Gaza will soon be two months old, but the conflict shows no sign of stopping yet. Israel is selectively accounting for the October 7 attack from Hamas. Israel’s attacks in the Gaza Strip continue, causing massive destruction so far. Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for a “permanent ceasefire” in Gaza. Macron appealed for a ceasefire during a phone call with Netanyahu. Macron’s office said the Palestinian Territory was facing a growing humanitarian crisis.

France will carry out humanitarian operations in Gaza

“France, together with Jordan, will carry out humanitarian operations in Gaza in the coming days,” the French president said in a statement. During the conversation, Emmanuel Macron told PM Netanyahu of his “deep concern” over the civilian deaths and humanitarian crisis in Gaza. He also stressed the importance of measures to end Israeli violence against Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank and stop new planned settlements.

Israel is selectively retaliating against Hamas

Let us tell you that on October 7, Hamas terrorists started this war by simultaneously firing 5 thousand rockets at Israel. With this, a large number of gunmen entered southern Israel. About 1,140 Israelis, mostly civilians, were killed in the attacks. Israel claims that Hamas militants have taken about 250 people hostage, of whom 129 are still in their custody.

So far 21,110 people have been killed in Israeli attacks

Israel has been wreaking havoc in the Gaza Strip since the attack by Hamas. It has been carrying out continuous ground and air strikes, causing a large number of civilian casualties. According to the Hamas-run Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, Israel has continued bombing and ground attacks in Gaza, vowing to destroy Hamas. Their attacks have so far killed around 21,110 people, mostly women and children.
