Mumbai: Thalapathy Vijay’s most awaited film ‘Leo’ has created a buzz in the theatres. The South Superstar’s film is getting a tremendous response from the audience and the theaters are thronging the theaters to watch the film. Leo has sole reign at the box office. There is a buzz among the fans about Thalapathy Vijay’s film that in just 2 days the film has scored a century and has made the air tight for other films. Two big Bollywood films were also released after Leo, but they seem to be faltering against the storm of Leo.
Thalapathy Vijay’s action packed Leo collected Rs 64.8 crore on the first day and did a business of Rs 36.88 crore on the second day. Now this film is creating buzz in the weekend as well. Not only has the film created a buzz at the box office on the first day, it has also left its mark on recently released films. Along with this, two more films were released, which seem to have been completely destroyed in the storm of lions.
After Leo, ‘Yaariyaan 2’ releases this Friday, starring Divya Khosla Kumar, Pearl V Puri and Meezan Jaffrey in pivotal roles. The film collected only Rs 1.2 crore on the first day of its release and the Rs 200 crore companion film ‘Ganapat’ is also not getting much audience. Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon and Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Ganapat’ has collected only Rs 2.5 crore on the first day. The Tiger-Kriti film did not receive the expected response from the audience.
That is, the condition of Ganapat and Yariyaan 2 has worsened in front of Leo. It may be noted that both Ganapat and Yaariyan 2 were released in theaters on October 20. While Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo was released on October 19 only. Thalapathy’s film is getting tremendous response from the audience. While both the Bollywood films released earlier are also being liked by the audience.
