Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir has named his favorite batting partner in white ball cricket. This is not Virender Sehwag or Sachin Tendulkar but MS Dhoni. Gambhir said that people think that Virender Sehwag was his favorite batting partner, but that is not the case. He always enjoyed batting with MS Dhoni, especially in white-ball cricket. Gambhir and Dhoni shared a historic partnership of 109 runs in the 2011 World Cup final. This partnership helped India win the title against Sri Lanka, with Gautam Gambhir scoring 97 and Dhoni scoring an unbeaten 91.
Speaking on Sportskida, Gautam Gambhir said, “My favorite cricket partner was MS Dhoni. People think my favorite batting partner was Virender Sehwag, but actually I loved playing with Dhoni more, especially in white-ball cricket. We had a great partnership. . with.” Gautam Gambhir is often accused of speaking against Dhoni, but this time Gambhir has silenced everyone by calling MS Dhoni his favorite batting partner. Gambhir certainly talks about Dhoni, but he is not offended by it.
This is not the first time Gautam Gambhir has praised MS Dhoni. Earlier he had said many times that MS Dhoni had staked his international cricket runs for the team. Gambhir said that if MS Dhoni could have batted in the top order, he would have created many records. “If MS had batted at No. 3 I am sure he would have broken many ODI records,” he said on Star Sports.

Gambhir continued, “People always talk about MS Dhoni and his achievements as a captain, which is absolutely true, but I think he sacrificed the batsman in him because of captaincy and he could have achieved a lot with the bat, which he did. And that’s what happens when you’re the captain, because then you put the team forward and forget about yourself.”
