Govinda’s wires linked to Rs 1000 crore Ponzi scam, to be questioned, know the whole case

Bollywood actor Govinda’s name is being linked in the Rs 1000 crore Ponzi scheme scam, due to which the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of the Odisha Crime Branch will be interrogating him. The name of the Solar Techno Alliance (STA) company has come up in this scheme scam and it is being said that Govinda has endorsed the STA company in some of his videos, i.e. he has made some promotional videos for them. Along with this, Govinda also participated in an event of this company.

Why will Govinda be questioned?
It is alleged that STA has conducted scams in several countries under the guise of crypto investments. This year ST organized an event in Goa, in which Govinda also participated. The incident took place in a luxury hotel in Goa, where around a thousand people were present. Govinda was present as the chief guest in this program. This incident took place on 30 July 2023. EOW Bhubaneswar DSP Sasmita Sahu says that Govinda will be interrogated as he was called to the STA event. It is being said that Govinda will also be asked who was approached by the STA to participate in the programme.

According to a report in The Hindu, about Rs. 1,000 crore and 2 lakh investors involved in India’s largest crypto-based Ponzi scheme. Last month, the EOW arrested STA India head Gurtej Singh Sidhu and Odisha head Nirod Das on August 7. Ratnakar Palai, an investment adviser from Bhubaneswar, was arrested on August 16 for his alleged relationship with Gurtej Singh Sidhu. A lookout circular has been issued against the head of the company, David Gage, who is a Hungarian citizen.

How does the plan work?
According to the information, the scheme asked people to join STAs and add their under members, thereby creating a chain system and giving members lucrative rewards for adding new members. According to reports, lakhs of rupees have been deposited from investors in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Jharkhand and other states.
