Graduate teachers in degree colleges in Bihar will not teach intermediate students. Director of Higher Education Prof. Rekha Kumari has given this instruction to the principals of all colleges in the state. The director of higher education said that we have informed the principals of the colleges that UG teachers will not teach inter students, they should make separate arrangements for this. The directorate of higher education has asked the colleges to seek guidance from the Bihar School Examination Committee for running inter-classes.

Principals of some colleges said that they would write to the Bihar School Examination Committee regarding this. The board will demand a teacher. The principal of the university said that in a recent meeting in Patna, instructions were given to make a separate arrangement for the inter students. After this we are now going to write a letter to the board regarding this.

Many colleges have one teacher from Inter to PG. Many colleges in Brabu have one teacher from Inter to PG. The same teacher takes classes everywhere. Teachers teaching from Intermediate to PG said that they face difficulty in conducting Intermediate classes. The syllabus for Intermediate is different and graduation and P.G. Doing it all together makes everything confusing. Therefore, there should be separate teachers for intermediate studies.

Bihar School Examination Board takes intermediate admissions in degree colleges in Bihar. For this the colleges get a portion of the fees.

Teachers can be brought from inter colleges
After instructing graduate teachers in degree colleges not to take inter classes, higher secondary school teachers may come to teach inter students there. People associated with the university said that after this notification by the Director of Higher Education, it is possible that the Bihar School Examination Committee may post intermediate teachers to teach intermediate students in degree colleges.
