Hamas’ military wing confirmed on Sunday that northern brigade commander Ahmed al-Ghandour and three other senior leaders had been killed in an Israeli strike. The Azzedine al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement that Ghandour was a member of its military council. The brigade has also named three other leaders who died. This includes Ayman Siam, described in Israeli media reports as the head of the brigade’s rocket firing unit.
