First Lt. Aidan Ram wrote an emotional post on the website Oct7.org. This website contains a collection of stories of war survivors. In her post, Aidan Ram said she was lying like a dead person, waiting for the last bullet among her friends who died to save her life.

“This is my story. A horror movie I saw on October 7, 2023. After being shot in the leg, I was trapped in a room with 6 of my comrades. We couldn’t do anything,” the Israeli female soldier wrote at the beginning of her post. “The fighters broke through the security gate and reached us while firing. They were firing at us.”

First Lieutenant Aidan Ram continues, “The whole time I wasn’t sure if I was alive or dead. I thought I was dead. But I could still see, hear and feel. I was getting it. I was waiting for it. The last shot. Maybe this shot would hit me and I would die. But it didn’t.”

Aden Ram writes, “For four hours I lay like a corpse among the bodies of my comrades. My whole body was soaked in blood. Hamas fighters were examining the bodies.”

“I started touching my whole body. To see where I had been shot. Where and how much blood was flowing. How much time I had left. I thought I might be dying,” says Aidan Ram.

“After lying there like a corpse for four hours, covered in blood and in excruciating pain, I couldn’t say a word. Finally people came to save me. The rescue team took me to Soroka hospital. One of the team members immediately took care of me,” says the Israeli soldier. Also informed the family.”
