A military operation of Haas is underway in the hospitals
During interrogation by the Israel Security Agency (ISA), Ahmed Kahlot revealed how Hamas was using hospitals for military purposes. Inside the hospital, Hamas is hiding its terrorists and conducting military activities and relocating Hamas members. Ahmed Kahlot said the terror group Hamas also took a captured soldier to hospital, Israel’s foreign ministry said in a press release.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the ISA captured Kahlot on December 12 at Kamal Advan Hospital. Kahlot said he has been part of Hamas since 2010. He said that he joined Hamas in 2010 with the rank of Brigadier General. The hospital is staffed by military operatives from Ezz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigade, including doctors, nurses, paramedics, clerks and staff members.
“Hospital is a safe place, that’s why terrorists hide”
According to an Israeli Foreign Ministry press release, Kahlot said that because hospitals are safe places, Hamas members hide in hospitals. According to a report by the Times of Israel, it revealed that 16 hospital employees, including doctors, nurses, clerks, paramedics, are in various positions in al-Qassam, the military wing of the terrorist organization. “They hide in hospitals because the hospital is a safe place for them. They will not be targeted when they are inside the hospital,” Kahlot said.
Kahlot continued, “I know 16 employees in the hospital – doctors, nurses, paramedics or clerks… who also have different positions in Al-Qassam.” He revealed that the hostage soldier was also kept in the hospital. he said. Inside the hospital office were a Hamas leader and two senior officials. A captured soldier was also kept there. Inside the hospital is a secure area where Hamas operatives have personal telephones.
A private ambulance near Hamas
Ahmed Kahlot said that Hamas has a private ambulance. Hamas used ambulances to transport hostages and dead bodies. According to a press release from Israel’s Foreign Ministry, it disclosed that Hamas did not help transport the injured to Shifa Hospital. During interrogation by ISA, Ahmed Kahlot said that Hamas has a private ambulance, with a different color and paint scheme. It does not have a license plate. Hamas used it to transport hostages. However, this ambulance did not help to transport the injured. Kahlot said his mission was more important than taking the wounded to the hospital. He called Hamas leaders “cowards”.
On Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) discovered a massive tunnel system. The IDF claims this is Hamas’s largest tunnel system. It was created by Mohammed Sinwar, brother of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. Notably, the tunnel is more than four kilometers (2.5 miles) long and is located just 400 meters from the Erez crossing, the IDF said. In a post on Twitter, the IDF also said that Gazans use huge tunnels every day to enter Israel for work and medical treatment at Israeli hospitals.
