HSSC CET 2023 Group D Exam: 7 arrested for trying to rig the exam

HSSC Group D Exam: 7 people have been arrested for cheating in Common Eligibility Test (CET) conducted by Haryana Staff Selection Commission for Group D recruitment in the state. In Hisar, a fourth class employee has also been caught handing out papers instead of candidates.

In the first case of cheating in HSSC examination, accused employee Vikas Kumar is a resident of Rajli village in Hisar. He is a Group D employee in Irrigation Department in Narwana (Jind). The accused employee was giving the exam in SD Girls School Hansi instead of candidate Pramod of Sanchal Village (Fatehabad). The police have arrested Vikas and are also looking for Pramod. Pramod is still absconding. The police have registered a case under sections 419, 420 and 120B of the IPC against both the accused.

In another case, accused Navdeep Singh was caught handing out papers in place of candidate Amardeep Singh in E-5 School, Garhi, Hansi. Navdeep is a resident of Butana village while candidate Amardeep is from Bhiwani.

In the third case, Sharda Parihar has been arrested in Hisar for giving papers instead of Krishna. Similarly, a total of 7 candidates have been arrested from various places in the state.

In this matter Sanjay Kumar, center supervisor of NCC Senior Model School, Panjokhara, said that a person named Ashish is giving papers instead of Sunil in the morning shift. A case has been registered against the accused. HSO Vikrant of Panjokhara Police Station said that Ashish was arrested on the spot. Will be produced in court on Sunday.
