Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry said in a statement that 120 wounded were still in hospital. Apart from this, there are also premature babies whose number is not yet known. She said she has been in touch with the Red Cross about the children.
Officials said some medical staff have been deployed to take care of people who cannot be taken to hospital.

The Israeli army has refused to order the evacuation. “The Army has accepted the request of the Director of Shifa Hospital to make it possible for those who were in the hospital and wanted to leave,” the Army said in a statement.
