Australian World Champion: Defeated India by six wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday to clinch the title of World Champion for the sixth time, bagging themselves a huge prize money along with the title. However, not only Australia but also the Indian team will get a huge amount. And this amount will be so big that team Rohit’s players will also become rich along with Australia. However, the semi-finalists and all the teams that did not make it to the knockouts will also be awarded prize money. Let’s know how much rupees will rain on which team.

Both semi-finalists will get this amount
Both the semi-finalist teams, New Zealand and South Africa, will each receive US$800,000 (roughly Rs. 6.5 crore for each team in Indian currency) as prize money.
The team which did not reach the knockout will get this amount
ICC is also going to give money to the six teams who did not make it to the knockout round. All these six teams (each) will get one lakh dollars (roughly Rs. 83 lakh) as prize money.
The winner and runner up will get this amount
The champion Australian team defeating India will get around $4 million (roughly Rs. 33 crore) as prize money, while the runner-up India will get $2 million (roughly Rs. 16 crore) as prize money.
