FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers: India got off to a flying start by beating Kuwait 1-0 in the second round of the FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers. Manveer Singh was the only goal scorer in the match played at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium in Kuwait City, who gave India the lead in the 75th minute. Team India maintained this lead till the end and achieved a great win against Kuwait. After this win, India moved to the second position in Group A. Finally, Manveer Singh scored a goal in the 75th minute to give India a 1-0 lead. Taking a superb pass from Lalianzuala Changte, Manveer Singh dodged the Kuwaiti goalkeeper and scored the first goal.
India’s next match will now be against Qatar on November 21 at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. This match is going to be very difficult for India.
