Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who came to India for the G20 summit, faced many problems on his way back. Trudeau was stranded in Delhi for 2 days due to a last minute plane crash. His plane was repaired 36 hours later, after which Justin Trudeau left for Canada on Tuesday afternoon. Meanwhile, according to sources familiar with the matter, India has offered to assist Canadian PM Justin Trudeau with an Air Force plane after a technical glitch occurred in his plane. But according to Canada’s National Defence, a part of the plane developed a fault that could have been quickly repaired. In such a situation, the Canadian PM rejected India’s proposal and decided to wait for a backup plane.

Earlier, Justin Trudeau had raised the issue of Khalistanis engaged in anti-India activities in Canada. He said – “Violence against Indian diplomats is increasing in Canada, attacks on Indian citizens and their religious places. Strict action should be taken against them.” After the G20 summit, Trudeau said – “I have spoken to PM Modi on this issue over the last few years. We always support freedom of expression. Peaceful demonstration is everyone’s right.”
Trudeau said – “At the same time, we oppose violence and will eliminate any form of hate. It must be kept in mind that the actions of some people do not reflect the thinking of Canada as a whole. We respect the law.”
