JEE Mains 2024: The January 2024 entrance exam (JEE Main 2024), the session for admissions to top engineering colleges across the country, will begin about a month from now. This exam is being conducted in two sessions. The first session JEE Main exam will be held from 24 January 2024 to 1 February 2024 and the second phase JEE Main exam will be held from 1 April to 15 April 2024. For this candidates are busy preparing for the exam. But it is very important to keep some things in mind during the exam. NTA has issued some instructions for students which are very important to see. Here we are going to tell you about 5 things that you should not do by mistake while reaching the exam center.

1- Do not delay in reaching the examination center:
NTA has alerted the students through a notice G major Students should not delay in reaching the examination center for the examination. Students have to reach the examination center on time. That means the students have to reach the examination center two hours before the commencement of the examination. If you do not arrive on time, you may miss the instructions given at the exam center.

2- Do not change your allotted seat:
NTA has said that it is a strict instruction that seats allotted to students should not be changed under any circumstances. If a student is found to be changing or his/her seat is changed, his/her candidature may be cancelled.

3- Do not use improper means:
Another instruction to the students is that they should not use any kind of improper means in the examination. If a candidate is caught cheating or using unfair means, he can be barred from all examinations for three years and face criminal prosecution. The NTA also lists things that are defined as unfair means. It is also considered improper to approach any other person or staff working at the examination center during the examination.

4- Do not tamper with official documents:
NTA has said that after reaching the examination centre, students should not make any mark or scratch or tamper with their ID or admit card etc. Otherwise the candidate may be prevented from entering the examination centre.

5- There will be no re-examination of missed papers:
Candidates should also keep in mind that once you miss your exam for any reason, it will not be retaken. In such a case, candidates should reach the examination center only on the date and time given in their admit card. Exam center or city will not change.
