JSSC CGL: Thousands of CGL candidates from Jharkhand application canceled due to 6 reasons, admit card soon

Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has canceled applications of more than 85000 candidates of Jharkhand General Graduate Qualified Combined Competitive Examination-2023 (Jharkhand JSSC CGL). Among the candidates whose applications have been canceled are 58077 who have not completed the registration process. In backlog category there are 1000 people who have not uploaded photo and signature properly. 24683 candidates did not upload photo and signature after paying exam fee. Besides, earlier submitted applications of 1136 applicants who submitted multiple online applications by entering the same name, father’s name and date of birth have been canceled considering their last submitted application.

At the same time, 94 applications have been rejected due to non-selection of regional tribal language and 33 applications due to non-payment of estimated difference amount after changing reservation category and disability.

JSSC CGL will now be held on 21st January and 28th January. A total of 2025 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment exam. Admit card will be released in January.

In the examination, writer’s facility will be provided for candidates with blindness and low vision, locomotor disability (both hands affected) and cerebral palsy with 40 percent or more disability and other disabled category candidates. For the convenience of the Dictator/Scribe, the concerned candidates will ensure to submit the application along with the prescribed format and documents to the Commission office by January 6.

cgl exam
The exam will be conducted in one phase. It will be taken in three shifts. Each paper will be of 2 hours duration. Mains exam will be conducted on OMR sheet. It will have objective and multiple choice questions. Three marks will be awarded for correct answer to each question, while one mark will be deducted for wrong answer.

Paper-1, Language Knowledge – Total Questions – 120, Duration of Exam – 2 Hours
– Knowledge of Hindi Language – 60 Questions
– Knowledge of English Language – 60 questions

Paper-2 Recognized Tribal and Regional Languages, Total Questions – 100, 2 Hrs.

Paper-3 General Knowledge, Total Questions 150, Duration of Exam – 2 Hours. A minimum of 30 percent marks in this is mandatory.
