Lokpal orders CBI probe in Mahua Moitra case – BJP MP Nishikant Dubey claims

Mahua had earlier dismissed the allegations as false. Later, after Hiranandani’s confession, finally Mahua also admitted that she had shared her account’s log-in password with Hiranandani. He has described Darshan Hiranandani as his old friend. However, Moitra has denied the allegations of asking questions after taking the money.

Moitra’s ex-partner filed a fresh complaint
At the same time, Mahua Moitra’s former partner and lawyer Jai Anant Dehdarai has filed a fresh complaint against her. Supreme Court lawyer Jai Anant Dehdrai filed a complaint at the Hauj Khas police station on Tuesday accusing Mahua Moitra of trespassing, i.e. forcibly entering her house and threatening the staff. Earlier, Dehdrai had expressed the threat to his life before the Delhi Police Commissioner.

Advocate Jai Anant Dehdrai has written a letter to the Station House Officer (SHO) of Hauj Khas Police Station on Tuesday. In which Dehdrai alleged, “After appearing before the committee, Mahua Moitra came to his house on November 5 and 6 without informing him. I fear that Moitra may try to pressure me on the pretext of my dog ​​Henry.”

Lawyer Jai Anant Dehdrai recently wrote to the CBI and BJP MP Nishikant Dubey claiming that Trinamool MP Mahua Moitra took bribe from businessman Darshan Hiranandani to ask questions in Parliament. Due to these complaints, the Ethics Committee of Parliament investigated Moitra.

During the appearance, he allegedly raised a ruckus in front of the media, accusing committee chairman Vinod Kumar Sonkar and other members of asking derogatory questions. Opposition MPs present at the committee meeting with Mahua alleged that the committee asked personal questions, after which they boycotted the meeting. Mahua later also said that the ethics committee was asking her dirty questions and she was ‘disrobed’.

Committee chairman Sonkar later said that Mahua created a ruckus to avoid questions. The committee has now convened a meeting on November 9. It is believed that the inquiry report may be adopted in this meeting.
