Details of all employed teachers in Bihar will now be registered at district level. The operation of providing details on the portal will be done by the district level education officials. In this regard, the department has instructed all District Program Officers to enter complete details of teachers themselves online. Earlier, teachers themselves had to enter all this information on the portal. More than one lakh teachers also uploaded the details. But, in a review, the Department for Education found that many teachers were providing incomplete or incorrect information.
After this the department has issued orders to the district program officers. In fact, the education department had decided that the complete details of all employed teachers would be recorded on the e-Shikshakosh portal. So that complete information about any teacher is available online.
Whenever the department needs it, it can instantly get the complete details of the teachers. It includes names of teachers, date of contribution, pay scale, training, promotion, level of teacher they are, in which school they are working etc. Such information shall be contained therein. Along with this, the mobile numbers of the teachers will also be there. This data will be available online at district, block, panchayat and cluster level.

Many working teachers considered themselves regular
A department official said that earlier teachers used to enter the details themselves. Many in-service teachers considered themselves to be regular teachers. There were other such mistakes. Now the district program officer himself will get the complete details from the teacher, head teacher and office and upload them on the portal. Since then, teachers details are now being entered afresh on the portal. So now this work will take more time to complete.
The midday meal scheme will also be added to the e-Shiksha Kosh portal
Now midday meal scheme will also be monitored on e-Shiksha Kosh portal. Its preparation is in final stage. The headmaster of the school himself will provide information regarding the midday meal scheme every day from his mobile. A format has been prepared in which the Head Teacher will give the information. How many children ate midday meal and if the meal was not ready, what were the reasons?
