He became the first Indian bowler to take 4 wickets in an over in international cricket. Siraj took 6 wickets for 21 runs in 7 overs. Meanwhile, Siraj also equaled the world record by taking 5 wickets in 16 balls. The entire Sri Lankan team returned to the pavilion after scoring 50 runs in 15.2 overs. Mendis became the sixth Siraj
Mohammad Siraj bowled Kusal Mendis in the 12th over of the innings. This was his sixth wicket. Mendis scored 17 runs off 34 balls.
