Sukhbir Singh Badal targets Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann
New Delhi:
Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal has launched the sharpest attack ever on Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He said on Monday evening that he did not consider Bhagwant Mann to be a Sikh because he “does not know the history of Sikhs”. Sukhbir Singh Badal said that Mann wears turban only to show himself as a Sikh but he does not know the history of Sikhs. He feels great pain when he sees them and hears their statements. Shiromani Akali Dal chief said this during a meeting with Sikh groups in Delhi. Meanwhile he also compared the population of Muslim and Sikh leadership.

Kejriwal-Mann accused of looting Punjab
Sukhbir Singh Badal said that Muslims constitute about 18 percent of the country’s population, but they have no leadership. The main reason is their non-unity. He said that Sikhs are 2 percent, but are united under Shri Akal Takht Sahib. Badal also claimed that the Punjab government is being run by Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal. He called Arvind Kejriwal the Chief Minister of Punjab instead of Bhagwant Mann and accused him of looting Punjab.
Let us tell you that the Aam Aadmi Party came to power in the 2022 elections with a landslide victory in Punjab. The party won 92 seats in the 117-member assembly, defeating the Congress. He won 18 seats in Punjab. Let it be known that Sukhbir Singh Badal met the Sikh Sangat members of Sri Patna Sahib (Bihar) and Mumbai (Maharashtra) on Monday evening at the house of S Paramjit Singh Sarna, president of his party’s Delhi state unit. Meanwhile he announced that “the Shiromani Akali Dal will establish party units in all states with a Sikh population.”
Unity will strengthen the Sikh community- Sukhbir Badal
Appealing to the community to remain united, the Shiromani Akali Dal leader said, “You should not be divided and remain united… Shiromani Akali Dal will establish party units in all states.” Let us tell you that in this meeting veteran Akali leader S Manjit Singh GK also joined the Shiromani Akali Dal with his entire Jago Party team. Meanwhile, Sukhbir Singh Badal said, “I am sure that this unity will not only strengthen the Sikh community, but also pave the way for the resolution of all our outstanding demands.”
“This is part of the process of effecting communal unity in the Sikh community. The community is facing various challenges and their solution can only be achieved under the banner of Shiromani Akali Dal,” he said earlier this month. He appealed to the disaffected. Akali leaders forget their differences and come together under one banner. Addressing a gathering at Gurdwara Shaheed Baba Gurbaksh Singh, located in Akal Takht in Amritsar, he said that those who have ‘sectarian’ ideas, have the Akali Dal at their heart. Blood, there is a single headed Akali Dal and to those who want to divide into factions, I want to say that there is strength in unity.
