World Television Day: Today is World Television Day. It is celebrated on 21 November every year. Television Day was started in 1996 by the United Nations General Assembly. The invention of television revolutionized our lives through communication and information. It was invented in the early 20th century and very soon it became famous all over the world. In 1996, the United Nations General Assembly recognized the growing influence of television and its ability to inform and educate the public. And this year November 21 was declared as World Television Day.
