JNV Class 9th, 11th Lateral Entry 2024: newcomer Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) will close the registration process for Class 9 & 11 Lateral Entry Admission 2024-25 on 31st October 2023. Students can apply for JNV Class 9th, 11th Lateral Entry through official website navodaya.gov.in. Students will get admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya class 9th and 11th vacant seats based on JNV Lateral Entry Selection Test. Students will be selected based on their performance in this test.

Earlier NVS took lateral entry admission only for class 9th. But from the year 2023, it has started taking lateral entry admission for class 11 as well. “JNV has decided to conduct a selection test for lateral entry admission for vacant seats in class XI from session 2023-24, as was the case for lateral entry admission in class 9,” NVS said in its official notification.

JNV Lateral Entry Selection Test is going to be conducted next year for admission to class 9 and 11. This exam will be conducted on 10 February 2024. The duration of the test will be 2 hours 30 minutes.

For NVS Class 9 admission, the student should be a resident of the district where Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located. Also, he should be enrolled in Class 8 in the academic year 2023-2024 in one of the recognized schools of the district.
