A new name has been added to the list, that of former Russian general Vladimir Sviridov, whose body was found in bed with his wife on Wednesday.
Former Russian general Vladimir Sviridov, who criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin over air force training, has been found dead under suspicious circumstances. US-based Newsweek, citing the state news agency, reported that the body of 68-year-old Sviridov was found on Wednesday along with an unidentified woman. The dead woman was Sviridov’s wife, according to reports in Russian outlets Baza and Kommersant linked to Moscow’s security services.
The bodies of the husband and wife were found together on a bed in their home in the village of Andziwski. Sviridov commanded Russia’s Sixth Air Force and Air Defense Forces. In 2007, Sviridov, in an interview with the Russian magazine Take Off, criticized Putin and expressed concern about the training of pilots, saying that the military’s average flying time was 25 hours compared to 100 hours per year for war preparation. From was 30 hours. However, no evidence of violence was found in Sviridov’s death. The Kremlin has not commented on the death of the former Russian general.

Sergei Yushenkov was shot dead outside his home in Moscow. Yushenkov was gathering evidence. Because he believed that the Putin government was behind the 1999 apartment bombings. Sergei Magnitsky, Alexander, Natalia Estemirova, Anna Politkovskaya, Alexander Litvinenko, Yuri Shekochikhin and Wagner Chief are also killed.
