Pakistan lost bowling all-rounder Shadab Khan in this match. Shadab splashed his bat while batting but could not bowl. Pakistan’s match-winning bowler got injured in the middle of the match and withdrew from the field. However, his replacement Osama Mir got a chance as a substitute for Concussion. But Osama could not compensate for the lack of experienced Shadab.

Shadab suffered a head injury
Shadab Khan played an innings of 43 runs in 36 balls with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes. Osama Mir took 2 wickets for 42 runs in 6 overs. Shadab Khan may be out of the World Cup. In the very first over of the Proteas team’s innings, the batsman flicked Iftikhar’s ball towards mid-on and quickly ran for a run. Meanwhile, Shadab Khan tried to stop the ball by diving. Shadab was successful in this but suffered a head injury in the process. However, he later walked himself off the field with a physio. After which he could not return to the field again.
