A woman and her eight children died on Sunday when the roof of a house in Kutch collapsed due to a fire caused by a short circuit in northwest Pakistan. According to rescue officials, the incident took place in Tahari village of Abbottabad district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. He said eight children, including a woman and her four daughters, died in the incident. Local people pulled out nine bodies from the rubble. The ages of those killed are yet to be ascertained. On receiving information about the incident, rescue officials reached the spot with three ambulances and brought the fire under control with the help of local residents.
