Ayub has played eight T20 International matches for Pakistan while Amir Jamal has played four T20 matches. Khurram has been included in the national team for the first time after his impressive performance in domestic cricket. Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Saeed Shakeel, Agha Salman, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Hasan Ali, Imam-ul-Haq, Abdullah Shafiq and Mohammad Wasim Jr have been named in the squad for the tour.
The team will participate in a training camp in Rawalpindi from November 23 to 28 and will then leave for Australia from Lahore on November 30. The first Test will be played in Perth from December 14, while the second Test will be played in Melbourne from December 26. The third and final Test will be played in Sydney from January 3.
