Builders should only include vehicles equipped with ‘tracking systems’. For transportation of construction materials.
It said that CCTV cameras should be installed on the perimeter of all construction sites to ensure that vehicles are not loaded with material. The BMC said all projects with a height of more than 70 meters should have a minimum 35 feet high wall of tin sheet around the site.
Buildings under construction and those being demolished should be covered with green cloth, jute sheet or tarpaulin on all sides. “Water should be sprinkled continuously during the process of demolition of the structure,” the guidelines said.
