Mumbai: Pooja Gaur, who has made a name for herself in every household by becoming Pratgya, has also worked in web series and films in addition to the world of TV. He has also hosted several TV shows. But, now Pooja has decided to take a new turn in her career. After last playing the role of a self-sacrificing mother in a web series, Pooja is now all set to impress fans as a story narrator. Recently, in an exclusive conversation with News18, Pooja shared her experience as a narrator and what made her decide to do this audio series with Pocket FM.
Recently, a promo of Pooja’s audio series was also released by Pocket FM. Pooja said that she has worked for four audio series for Pocket FM, including series like ‘Secret Amirzada’, ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To’, ‘Insta Millionaire’ and ‘Marrying the Devil’. In the promo, Pooja is seen entertaining her fans and giving a new experience through her mesmerizing voice. Pooja said that she entered the world of audio series because it reminded her of the golden days of her childhood.
On her association with Pocket FM, Pooja said, “As a medium, audio has been present in the entertainment space for a long time, however the audio category is a new and exciting segment. I am very excited about our collaboration with Pocket FM for this special promo.” In the era of OTT web shows and movies, audio series has emerged as a new and refreshing change. It’s interesting how an artist is not limited to the screen but now uses his voice to create an engaging audio series. As an artist, we often focus on facial expressions, but the audio series taught me the importance of expressing emotions through words. If your words and the tone of your statement don’t match your feelings, consider that you’ve missed that opportunity.
He continues, “In today’s busy world we often talk but forget to listen. Audio content is changing this. It encourages us to pay attention and understand better instead of talking constantly. In our time of busyness and short attention span, audio series are a great option to enjoy exciting stories while relaxing at home. Since childhood I have had a deep connection with audio stories during long journeys. Now, I am thrilled to share this incredible audio experience with others through this unique collaboration.”
Each of these series offers a unique and captivating experience. “Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To” highlights Anika’s emotional journey, filled with love, loss and mysterious secrets. “Secret Amirzada” is based on the story of Ahan Raizada, a man who defies societal norms in search of his true identity. “Insta Millionaire” takes us through Lucky’s amazing journey from poverty to riches and unexpected twists and turns. Meanwhile, “Devil Se Shaadi” immerses us in the accidental and unconventional union of Ishki and Rajveer, which promises a rollercoaster of emotions and unexpected twists.
