Prabhas Birthday Special: South star actor Prabhas is celebrating his 44th birthday today. Prabhas started his career in the year 2002 with the film ‘Ishwar’ and then two years later he got fame with the film ‘Varsham’. Prabhas became a famous face after the release of his film ‘Mirchi’ in 2013. Prabhas fans named him Young Rebel Star. He has also been introduced with the same title in the film ‘Saalar’.
When Prabhas emerged as a ‘young rebel star’
In the South, Prabhas became popular long before the release of the film ‘Baahubali – The Beginning’, however, in 2015, S.S. Prabhas got national fame after the release of Rajamouli’s film. In an interview around the release of ‘Mirchi’, Prabhas said that he did not feel very comfortable with a title like ‘Rebel Star’. The actor said that he only wants to be Prabhas.
Prabhas does not like to get any titles
In a conversation with 123 Telugu, Prabhas said, “Look, I’ve never been very comfortable with titles. If these things were left to me, I’d prefer to be Prabhas. I tried to convince my friends that it’s not. ‘Young Rebel Star ‘ use the title, but on the contrary, they convinced me to do so. My fans love the title and they (the makers) didn’t want to disappoint them.”
Prabhas will stay around entertainment films
Prabhas said, “That was the reason I also agreed to it. My fans are very important to me, I like what they like.” Prabhas also said in one of his entertainments that he will never work in art work or parallel cinema. He said, “I will stick to entertainment films. I want to experiment around my image. For example, Darling and Mr Perfect were experiments for me when I was trying to do family dramas.”
