Indian team’s young wicketkeeper batsman Richa Ghosh performed brilliantly in his Test debut. Parents seemed very happy with Richa’s performance.
Richa and Jemimah Rodrigues shared 113 runs for the fourth wicket. With the help of this partnership, the Indian team managed to cross the score of 260. In the morning session, Sneh Rana scored 9 runs and Smriti Mandhana returned to the pavilion with 74 runs. Richa Ghosh interacted with the parents after the second day’s play. Richa said, “You guys came and watched me play in my first Test match. I am happy for that. I am proud to have you both with me.

Whatever I tried in practice, I need to do the same here. We have to respect the good ball and take a shot when the bad ball comes.” Richa Ghosh scored 52 off 104 balls in her debut innings. He hit seven fours in his innings.
In response to Australia’s 219 runs in the first innings, India scored 376 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. The team’s lead became 157 runs. At the end of the second day’s play, Deepti Sharma is playing with 70 runs and Pooja Vastrakar with 33 runs.
