India A team is on a tour of South Africa. Before the India vs South Africa Test series, a series of three unofficial Test matches is being played between India A vs South Africa A. India are in a commanding position in the first Test match of the A series. On the fourth day of the match, India scored 417 runs in the first innings against South Africa A. Earlier, South Africa A scored 319 runs in the first innings. The biggest role in stopping South Africa A was played by the famous Krishna who took five wickets in the first innings. While in batting, Pradosh Paul won hearts with his batting. Sai Sudarshan and Devdutt Paddikal returned to the pavilion with a score of 71 runs. Pradosh crossed the score of 200 along with Sarfraz Khan. Sarfraz was dismissed after scoring 68 runs.

After this, skipper Srikar Bharat and Dhruv Jurel were dismissed cheaply. India A’s score was 225 runs for five wickets. After this, Pradosh and Shardul Thakur combined to bring India A back into the match. Pradosh was dismissed for 163 runs off 209 balls with the help of 23 fours and one six. While Shardul played an innings of 76 runs in 98 balls. Saurabh Kumar also played an important innings of 22 runs. Thus, India A scored 417 runs in the first innings and took a strong lead against South Africa.

Play will continue on the fourth day of the match and if India A’s bowlers restrict South Africa A to a low score in the second innings then India A will have a chance to win the match. The first day of this unofficial Test match was washed away in rain. Talking about South Africa A, Jean du Plessis played an innings of 106 runs for them.
