New Delhi. The 37th match of the World Cup will be played between India and South Africa on Sunday. This match will be played at the Eden Gordon Ground in Kolkata. Both teams are ready for this. Both have qualified for the semi-finals. Before the match, former Indian cricketer Sandeep Patil in a special conversation with News18 Hindi said that India has the upper hand in this match.
Speaking to News18 Hindi, Sandeep Patil said, “The elephant is gone, the tail remains. So the one whose tail is left will win. If I say so, it seems that Team India has an upper hand in this match. Because he will be playing at home. But both the teams have performed brilliantly in the tournament from start to finish. The balance between the two teams is very good. “First we will see the wicket and then the team will decide which player to play.”
Sandeep Patil further said, ‘We don’t win matches only on the strength of batsmen. The bowlers also have a big role to play and the way the bowlers of the Indian team are bowling, the way they have made a comeback is really fantastic. Be it Kuldeep Yadav, Shami or Bumrah. In the last match, the team went with only 5 bowlers. But still the team registered a win. The biggest thing is to play the role, which Team India has also shown.
India’s playing 11 could look like this: Rohit Sharma (captain), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul (wicketkeeper), Suryakumar Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Shami, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj.
