‘Kabali Pulao’ is the story of an honest man from Lahore, Haji Mushtaq aka Mohammad Ehteshamuddin, and a needy Afghan girl, Barbina, played by Sabina Farooq. The story revolves around how Haji (an ordinary bachelor who is around 50 years old) meets a young girl, Barbiena (20 years old), while seeking medical care for his sick mother. As Haji Mushtaq spends more time with the girl, he begins to see the world from a different perspective and falls in love for the first time in his life.
