SBI CBO Recruitment 2023: State Bank of India has announced bumper recruitment for the posts of Circle Based Officer (CBO). Total 5280 posts of CBO will be recruited in SBI. 787 posts for SC, 388 for ST, 1421 for OBC, 527 for EWS are reserved. Unreserved seats are 2157. The application process for these posts will start from 22 November 2023. Interested candidates can apply by visiting sbi.co.in or sbi.co.in/careers. Last date to apply is 12 December 2023. This exam will be conducted in January 2024. The admit card will also be issued in January itself.
capacity
Graduate from any discipline. Candidate should have minimum two years experience as an officer in a commercial bank or regional rural bank.
Age range
21 to 30 years. It means that the candidate should not have been born after 31 October 2002 and before 1 November 1993. SC and ST categories will be given five years relaxation in maximum age limit and OBCs will be given three years relaxation.
Salary
Basic Salary Rs. 36,000/- will start. (36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840), DA, HRA, CCA, Medical and other allowances also.
selection
Online Written Test, Screening, Interview.
Exam Pattern
The online written exam will have two sections. Objective and descriptive. 120 questions of 120 marks (English, Banking, General Awareness, Computer Aptitude) will be asked in the 2 hour objective paper. While English Writing (Letter Writing and Essay) will be tested in Descriptive. This section will be of 50 marks for which 30 minutes will be allotted.
competence
Candidates have to qualify both the separate online test and interview. The marks obtained in both objective test and descriptive test in the online test will be added with the marks obtained in the interview to prepare the final merit list. Test and Interview
