New Delhi. On 19 October 2012, three new students made their Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s film ‘Student of the Year’. All three students are now seniors in the acting world and all three have achieved a good place in their careers. Karan Johar has a special relationship with the three actors who made their debut with the film ‘Student of the Year’. Recently, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor participated in Karan Johar’s popular chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ and now Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra were seen in the latest episode.
While participating in ‘Koffee With Karan’, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra also shared many unknown facts related to their debut film. During a fun and conversation with both the actors, Karan Johar revealed that Varun and Siddharth wanted to remove Alia Bhatt from the film. Karan says I remember when Alia Bhatt came on the sets for the first time, you guys messaged me and asked me to remove her from the film.
Alia met Karan Johar for the first time
The director further says that one of the two actors said that Alia Bhatt is too short. He said that both Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra already knew Karan Johar and it was Alia who met him for the first time during the shooting of the film. Talking more about the film and the star cast, Karan Johar shared that he was doing a photoshoot during which Alia was very quiet.
Karan found Alia ‘perfect’ for the film
According to Karan Johar, the moment he saw Alia Bhatt’s photoshoot, he knew she was perfect for the film. Corroborating Karan Johar’s statement, Varun even joked that he too knew Alia was perfect for the film, to which Karan Johar interrupted him and pulled his leg.
