Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dinky’ is just days away from its release. Shah Rukh is all set to create a buzz at the box office on the occasion of Christmas. This is his third film this year after ‘Jawaan’ and ‘Pathan’ and is expected to register a hat-trick of hits. The film’s trailer and songs have received good response. Now the rest is for the audience in the theaters to decide. Meanwhile, ‘Dinky’ has received a certificate from the Censor Board.
Cut to the film
‘Dinky’ will be released with some cuts. The Censor Board has given the film a U/A certificate. The runtime of the film is 2 hours 41 minutes. As reported by Bollywood Hungama, suggested cuts to the film include adding an anti-smoking warning in the beginning and middle. Also, one word has been replaced by the word ‘immigrant’. During a key scene in the film, there will be a sign warning ‘suicide is not the solution to any problem’.
This scene had also changed
A pre-interval scene of Hardik (Shah Rukh Khan) sitting on a horse in uniform during his wedding was also changed. Finally the producers had to provide facts about the mentioned figures.
There will be a clash with Salar
Other cast members of ‘Dinky’ include Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and Boman Irani. The film will release worldwide on December 21. The film is about entering another country illegally. Along with Shahrukh’s film, Prabhas starrer ‘Salar’ will also hit the box office. Only time will tell who will win in both the films.
